Every job application on SkillPath requires you to complete three assessments and upload a screenshot of your results for each one. This is a mandatory part of the application form and must be completed before you can confirm your application.

Why Assessments Are Required

SkillPath uses assessments as a structured part of the application process. They give employers additional insight into your personality, behavioral style, and problem-solving ability beyond what your profile and skills checklist show.

Assessments are completed on external platforms outside of SkillPath. Once you finish each one, you take a screenshot of your results page and upload it within the application form. SkillPath stores the screenshot as candidate-provided documentation. Employers review your uploaded screenshots during the applicant review process.

The Three Required Assessments

1. 16 Personalities Assessment

The 16 Personalities assessment is a personality type test based on the Myers-Briggs framework. It identifies your personality type across four dimensions: how you direct energy, how you process information, how you make decisions, and how you approach structure.

To complete this assessment, visit www.16personalities.com. The assessment is free and takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Answer each question honestly based on how you naturally think and behave. When you reach your results page, take a clear screenshot showing your personality type and result summary.

2. DISC Personality Assessment

The DISC assessment measures four behavioral dimensions: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. It provides insight into how you respond to challenges, communicate, handle pace, and approach rules and procedures.

3. Problem-Solving Assessment

The Problem-Solving assessment evaluates your logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and ability to work through structured problems under time or information constraints.

How to Upload Assessment Screenshots During Your Application

Assessments are completed and uploaded as part of the job application form. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your SkillPath account.

  2. Browse job listings and find a role you want to apply for.

  3. Open the job listing and click Apply.

  4. Fill up the application form with the required details.

  5. On the skills step, select all the skills that you possess from the checklist.

  6. In the assessments section of the application form, complete each of the three assessments on their external platforms, take a clear screenshot of each result, and upload the screenshots one by one.

  7. Click Confirm to submit your application.

  8. You will receive a confirmation that your application has been successfully submitted.

Troubleshooting Assessment Uploads

My file upload is failing

Confirm your file is in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. Files in PDF, HEIC, WebP, or other formats will be rejected. If your screenshot is in an unsupported format, open it on your device and save or export it as a JPG or PNG before uploading again.

I lost my results page and cannot retake the screenshot

Log back in to the assessment platform and check if your previous results are saved in your account. Most personality assessment platforms store your results permanently. If results are no longer accessible, you may need to retake the assessment.
