What Happens After Each Action

This guide explains what happens immediately after every major action on SkillPath — what changes in the system, what the other party sees, and where to find relevant information.

For Job Seekers

After you register

A 6-digit email verification code is sent to your registered email address. Your account is inactive until you enter this code. You cannot log in until verification is complete.

After you verify your email

Your account becomes active immediately and you can log in right away.

After you submit an application

Your application is recorded immediately and appears in your Applications tab with a status of Pending. The employer can see it in their applicant list right away.

After your application is approved

Your application status changes to Approved in your Applications tab. If the employer entered a Google Meet link and interview date, those details appear there. There are no email notifications — check your Applications tab directly.

After your application is rejected

Your application status changes to Rejected in your Applications tab. A rejection reason entered by the employer is stored with the record. You can ask the Help Desk Chatbot about your rejection context if one is available.

After you save a job to favorites

The job is added to your Favorite Jobs list immediately. Access it from the Favorite Jobs section in your navigation menu.

After you submit a support ticket

Your ticket is recorded and visible in the Support Tickets section of your dashboard. Track its status from there.

For Employers

After you purchase a subscription

Your subscription activates immediately upon payment confirmation. Your job posting credit balance updates automatically and you can begin creating listings right away.

After you publish a job posting

The listing is published automatically with Active status and becomes visible to all job seekers immediately. Your remaining job posting credit count decreases by one.

After a job seeker applies to your listing

The application appears in your All Applications section immediately with a status of Pending. The applicant's full profile, Match Score, skill checklist, and uploaded files are available to review right away.

After you approve an applicant

The applicant's status updates to Approved immediately. If you entered a Google Meet link and interview date, those details become visible to the applicant in their Applications tab right away.

After you reject an applicant

The applicant's status updates to Rejected immediately. The rejection reason is stored with the record. The applicant can see their Rejected status in their Applications tab.

After a job posting expires

The job moves to Expired status automatically when the deadline passes. It disappears from job seeker search results immediately and is closed to new applications. You can still view the full listing and all its application records in your Manage Jobs section.
